Sticking with Forgiveness

We are sticking with forgiveness in light of the Easter season. It is often said, hurt people hurt people, healed people heal people and I want to add forgiven people forgive people. We must receive, to give, and when we receive the only way to truly walk in our healing or forgiveness is to give it! Give it everyday. The feelings will follow the action and the action is a daily work. What did Jesus mean when he told us to take up our cross daily and follow him? I think forgiveness is a daily work; it is not one and done, but takes a daily commitment to receive it and give it, maybe that’s why His mercies are new every morning. Whatever we hold close, we give, whether we mean to or not, that’s why hurt people, hurt people. They don’t mean to, it’s just what they have, so it’s what they do. May we have mercy, healing and forgiveness in our lives to give freely and generously, as has been given to us by Jesus.

This is us

Hi!

Daughter, sister, wife, mom, Gma, and friend is what I bring to the table.  There is only one, I AM, and it isn’t me. Jesus is His name and He lives in me and works in all that I AM, and all that I am not. Our work together looks like laundry, and sometimes we dance.  He cleans up all the messes and He is who I follow, in the dance of life.  My name is Jenay and I’m glad you stopped by.
