It Started With C and J
Christ Jesus is our foundation and also the roof over our heads. At the top you see CJ for Charlie and Jenay. We have been together so long, it’s hard to see where one ends and the other starts, and this is the logo we have had for more years that I can remember honestly. Charlie is a builder by trade and profession and he marks on the the houses he builds Hebrews 3:4 (For every house is built by someone, but the builder of all things is God.) This is the house that God built with us. We’ve had a lot of additions and remodels, over the years, but we stand on a firm foundation, and our house isn’t complete, we are still in process, and we will continue until we reside in heaven where He is preparing a place for us.
The Reason I Share
God writes a story with in each and every one of His children. I love to hear people’s story, because it’s listening to a story God is writing from the inside perspective of one. People don’t always acknowledge God in their stories, but make no mistake about it, God is the creator of all and He is the one writing it. One reason I am compelled to share, is so I can open up, for others to share. Putting ourselves out there, means we are opening up a space to bring more in. It may encourage someone to see their life as a life that God created and is the builder of all things. When we set our eyes on Him and begin to take in the view while standing on a firm foundation, we will see Him and we will see ourselves in Him.
God Built Our Family
Through God’s Word and a Beth Moore Bible Study I was doing with Charsie in 2015 God showed me that He was building our family, and He downloaded super specific details. It gave me vision to pray and believe and trust that He was at work in us as individuals and as a family. I will share over time and give more words to the picture, but for now, I leave with you the graphic that tells the story.
Testimonies
There is a part of this blog that we named Testimonies. In my mind this is just a pretty way of saying people’s stories. I will share more of mine over time and also, with permission, I have a few people that I know you will want to know, so I will share, and you will be blessed.
