knowing Christ part 5. Knowing Christ is knowing who sent Him. If I go to your house, even if you have never met me, and I say your mom sent me to tell you something important, you may look at me like I am crazy… why would your mom send me? Before I tell you what I have to say I hand you a handwritten note from your mom, in her writing and I hand you a cookie that only your mother has ever made you… now you don’t care who I am, it doesn’t even matter, you know me because I know your mom; you are all ears no matter what you think of me or your mother, you know I have come to say something she has said. This is how it is with Jesus. If we know God who sent Jesus we can trust Him and the message that he comes with. All we need to know is He, and the message He brings has been sent by All Mighty God and we better pay attention to what the message is and accept Him and the message He brings because it is trustworthy and good for all of life forever!
