Holy Week

Part of what Jesus was showing us as he washed his disciples feet is how to handle betrayal, denial, and abandonment. He knew what had already taken place and what was coming and he still did it. He got on his knees and served the betrayer, the denier, the ones who would abandon him in his darkest moment and he washed their feet and told them to do this to one another. When we are betrayed, abandon and denied; we are called to serve. We wrap a towel around us, not a fence or defense, get on our knees, not our high-horse or soapbox, and humble ourselves and serve. It seems impossible, until we see how Jesus saved us and served us in our worst moments and then it seems like serving in the midst of betrayal and abandonment is part of following Jesus. John 13:12-15

This is us

Hi!

Daughter, sister, wife, mom, Gma, and friend is what I bring to the table.  There is only one, I AM, and it isn’t me. Jesus is His name and He lives in me and works in all that I AM, and all that I am not. Our work together looks like laundry, and sometimes we dance.  He cleans up all the messes and He is who I follow, in the dance of life.  My name is Jenay and I’m glad you stopped by.
