Dear Children, Happy Mother’s Day Week!!

I thank God for my children,  and I thank children for driving mama’s heart and knees to the throne of grace. True childlike faith is taught by children, seeing and loving them, is how we learn to be like them. The beauty of trust and wonder is seen in a child’s eyes, and looking straight into them makes mothers see it and do it too.

Praying Mothers

The most gut-wrenching and magnificent prayers ever prayed, are the prayers of a mother for her children. The prayer of Hannah in the Old Testament and the prayer of Mary in the New Testament show us that all throughout time, God hears the prayers of mothers and records their words, in His Word, to give life and eternity for all to know.

Mom Moments

Children can make a mother sing and curse in the same breath.  In the same Mom moment , a mother can turn from tears of anguish to tears of laughter;  you can always count on a  mother to pour out all she has in her, over her children.

A mother will tear into a child over the littlest of things that she may have big feelings about, just as a mother bear will tear into anything or anyone who messes with her young ones.

Children Shape Mothers

The shape of a birth mother, changes and grows from the inside out. Children that come from another birth mother, reshape, grow and draw more mother’s in from outside. It’s all a process of growing and shaping into who God has called us to be inside and out.

Thank You Children

Thank you children, for your love, grace and forgiveness, for all mother’s mistakes.  As I age and grow into a deeper child-like faith, as a mother and as a child of a mother, I realize that mothers and children are on the same journey.  It’s just that mothers may need more grace and forgiveness extended, as she journeys longer, she has more miles on her, and experience and breakdowns are increasing.

The greatest way to bless a mother, is to care for her child! Even when that child is you!

This is us

Hi!

Daughter, sister, wife, mom, Gma, and friend is what I bring to the table.  There is only one, I AM, and it isn’t me. Jesus is His name and He lives in me and works in all that I AM, and all that I am not. Our work together looks like laundry, and sometimes we dance.  He cleans up all the messes and He is who I follow, in the dance of life.  My name is Jenay and I’m glad you stopped by.
